About Annabelle

I’m a French import! Teaching French makes me feel like bringing a piece of home to Melbourne. I’m a polyglot and as much as I love learning languages I love the cultural exchange inherent to the practice of a foreign language. I want to share the experience of learning a new language with you, as well as my French skills as a native speaker.

About the lesson

Speaking is the key. Learning French in a classroom as an English native speaker doesn’t work. That’s probably why you are looking for someone like me now.
We don’t go together with a generic 1-1 class. Not only will you learn useful grammar, vocabulary and conjugations while speaking with me, but you’ll also dive into the French culture.
As a polyglot (English, German, Italian) I share comprehensive methods which helped me concretely to master foreign languages.
We will focus on concrete use cases, so you go from hesitating to feeling confident communicating in French.

Perfect! I highly recommend Annabelle if you want to improve your French speaking! She is friendly and put me immediately at ease. Annabelle understood exactly my current ability with French, both strengths and weaknesses and offered effective methods and lots of encouragement to help me build my confidence in French. Our sessions were always fun; just like meeting a French-speaking friend for coffee! I strongly recommend Annabelle to anyone wanting to improve their French.
