About Anslem
I am a First-Class Computer Science graduate currently pursuing an MSc in Computing (Cybersecurity) at Dublin City University. I have a strong academic background in Computer Science and practical professional experience as a software developer.
I believe good tutoring is about making difficult concepts understandable. I am patient, approachable and willing to explain a topic in different ways until it makes sense. My goal is not simply to help students get the correct answer, but to help them understand the reasoning behind it and become more confident in solving problems independently.
I have experience working with programming and modern software development, including Python, JavaScript, React and Next.js, and I bring this practical experience into my lessons where appropriate.
Whether you are completely new to programming or looking to strengthen your existing Computer Science knowledge, I will provide structured, supportive and personalized lessons based on your individual goals and level.

My approach to tutoring is simple: understand the concept first, then learn how to apply it.
I break difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and explain not only what to do, but why it works. I encourage students to ask questions, work through problems themselves, and learn from mistakes rather than simply memorizing solutions. For programming, I focus heavily on practical examples and guided problem-solving so students develop confidence writing and understanding their own code.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the pace adapted to the student's level, goals and learning style.
I am a First-Class Computer Science graduate from the University of Ibadan and currently pursuing an MSc in Computing (Cybersecurity) at Dublin City University. I also have professional experience as a software developer, working with technologies including Python, JavaScript, React and Next.js.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and students looking to strengthen their understanding of Computer Science, programming, Python, cybersecurity and related computing subjects. I particularly enjoy helping students who feel that programming is difficult or confusing turn those topics into something they can understand and confidently apply.
