About Amy
I am a student working toward my educational degree for grades 4th -8th. I have been a personal tutor for over five years, working with students from 3rd to 11th grade. I specialize in science and math as those are the subjects my degree will consist of. I also have a fondness of language arts and literature. Reading is a passion of mine and I enjoy spreading that to my students. I like to find creative ways to help the students learn so that the lesson maybe more memorable and useful in the future.

I enjoy using the students interests to personalize the learning strategies I employ. For example, I have used a young man's love of baseball to help children understand math using a kinetic learning style. I also enjoy visual learning opportunities that science often presents.
