About Zoya

I am a passionate Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BA in Mathematics. My special interest lies in topology and knot theory, fields that explore shapes, spaces, and continuous deformations. I enjoy helping students understand these abstract concepts through visual aids and real-world examples, such as molecular structures and knots in everyday life. My teaching style focuses on making complex ideas clear and accessible. I work closely with students who are curious about abstract mathematics, physics, and even art, showing how these subjects connect through the language of shapes and transformations. I believe that math is not just about numbers but about understanding the world in new ways. Topology is where intuition meets rigorous proof, offering a beautiful blend of creativity and logic. My goal is to inspire students to explore this fascinating branch of mathematics with confidence. Together, we build strong foundations and develop problem-solving skills that last. Whether preparing for exams or diving deep into theory, I’m here to support every step of the learning journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is highly structured, building each concept step-by-step to create a strong foundation in mathematics. I cover a range of subjects including algebraic foundations, calculus concepts like differentiation and integration, geometry proofs, and practical applications in probability and statistics. This method helps students see how topics connect and build upon one another, making learning more meaningful and easier to remember.

I focus on clear explanations and real-life examples to make abstract ideas simple and relatable. Every lesson follows a clear progression path designed to deepen understanding and boost confidence. I am skilled at solving complex problems and guiding students to think critically and independently.

Tailored guidance is central to my teaching. I adapt lessons to fit each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring they grasp key ideas fully before moving forward. I encourage questions and active participation to keep students engaged.

This approach supports students in mastering difficult topics and excelling in exams and assignments. Whether they aim for academic success or future careers in fields like actuarial science, I help them develop strong problem-solving skills and lasting knowledge.

Together, we work towards clear goals, making learning focused and rewarding. With patience and support, students build confidence and enjoy math more every day.
