About Jennifer A
I have 20 years of experience in tutoring. I have 10 years in business consulting and 14 years as a professional author. I have my MS in Accounting, BS in Accounting and 5 national recognitions for being in the Top 3% of the Nation. A leader in the field is the best kind of teacher. I was 17 when I was recognized as a National Scholar for having scholarly writing most never have. Those who do, usually have a doctorate degree while I was still in high school in the Top 3% of the Nation Among High School Students. I was recognized for my academics, as well as leadership being in the Top 3% of the Nation at age 17 and 18. My most recent was in February of 2020 when I was recognized as "Best Tutor in Greater Houston." The one I am the most proud was in 2015 when my tutoring company, which I own, was recognized as "Top Vendor in the State of Texas Among Its Industry."

I assess each student when they first sign up for tutoring. I determine their exact weak areas, and style of learning. Then I design a custom lesson plan focusing on the "roots" of his/her struggle using the teaching method best fit for their learning style. I also give homework and other forms of extra practice so what we go over in tutorials will be more likely to stick.
We can drive to your preferred place of the sessions rather it is your home, my home, or a different place that you would like. We are open to travel as long as it is local on the west side of Houston such as Katy, Cypress, Richmond and the like. If you child is getting out of school right before the session, we can pick him or her up to travel with us to the place you want the service such as home. This is as long a there is someone to watch him/her after we finish the session at your preferred place.
