About Kasey

Everyone learns differently, so I strive to customize my teaching strategies based on the needs of each student in order to help the achieve their goals at the piano faster. Traditional piano education mixed with a bubbly personality and creative games is what you can expect from a typical lesson. Since graduating with a piano preformance degree from Jacksonville State University, I have been teaching in the greater Atlanta area for over two years and would love to teach you or your loved one about the piano.

Watching my students get excited about being able to play the piano makes me enjoy what I do. I love seeing them meet their goals.

I come from a long line of teachers and musicians so teaching music has always been a natural career path for me, for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to teach piano. I began teaching at a music studio in Atlanta and have loved every minute of it.

I have 20+ years of experience at the piano and have been teaching privately for about 3 years. I graduated with honors from Jacksonville State University with my degree in Piano Performance.

A brand new student will begin with a basic introduction to music--we will develop a sense of rhythm, learn to read music, discuss important terms and definitions, as well as train aurally through singing and playing on the piano.

Returning students will be evaluated at the first lesson and we will review what we know already and continue from there.

I have worked with a diverse group of students as young as 3 to as old as 60.
