About Ted

I am eager to teach and also to learn from my students and their parents. I really believe that, given the opportunity, students can exceed our expectations. I realize that education is facing a difficult transition during this time of social distancing. I am committed to provide the most engaging experience possible and it would be a pleasure to work with you!

My passion for working with students began during my time in college. There I met with local elementary students each week to improve the awareness and appreciation for the outdoors. We achieved this by helping them plant their own school garden, braving the steep Berkeley Hills on nature hikes, and encountering strange creatures at the local zoos. Since gaining my teaching credentials in both social science and mathematics, I have worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and educational levels. I am currently teaching Integrated Math II and AP Statistics at a local high school Chula Vista, CA.
