About Elissa

Children are the future of society, being a part of preparing them for the future bring me so much joy. My younger sister just turned 8 and it has been amazing to watch her start to understand complex subjects regarding the world we live in. I would love to help your child with their homework or test prep any day of the week!

2 neighborhood kids were struggling in school, so their mother asked me if I could tutor them.

In 2018 I tutored 2 neighborhood kids. One was in 1st grade and the other in 3rd grade. I helped them with all subjects and am open to helping with all elementary subjects currently.

About the lesson

I would begin trying to determine their learning style. After, I will ask the student what they feel they are struggling the most with right now. Then, I will help the student along the way on homework or worksheets they were assigned, focusing on subjects that the student is struggling on.

1st grade - auditory learner

3rd grade - kinaesthetic learner
