About Nima
Hi I'm Nima. I am currently a third year Molecular and Cell Developmental Biology major at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I am also working on getting my minor in Iranian studies. I do have some experience as a tutor; I have been tutoring for a few months on a variety of different subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, and Algebra. Aside from tutoring younger students, I spent some time tutoring incoming college freshman at UCSB.
When it comes to math, I feel as though I can really explain and get someone to grasp the material. I have a couple months of experience tutoring high school freshman algebra.
I have done many years of science in school and in college especially being a Biology major. Beyond just taking many classes of it, I truly have a passion for science. I worked with students through this program my school had to offer to serve as a mentor and teach new study strategies how to tackle down the new college curriculum.
As a younger student, I had tutors that I really benefited from and saw the value. I want to enlighten students and really have them understand the material they are learning. I am very dedicated and always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. I have a passion to learn and to benefit the students in the most way possible.

I really enjoy working with new students. For a new stuent, I try to relate to the age of the student I am teaching to make the material the most interesting and easy to understand. I first like to go over the material and work on problems that can be challening for the student, but I also challenge my studets with different questions that I come up with to really make sure they understand the material.
