About Faran
I'm a Physics and Mathematics specialist tutoring at O/A Level (Cambridge International, CAIE, Edexcel, AQA, OCR) and the full suite of university entrance tests — SAT, ACT, and GMAT. I hold an M.Sc. in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from UET Lahore, one of Pakistan's leading engineering universities, and I've spent the last seven years teaching the subjects I trained in. My teaching is built on two convictions. First, that Physics and Mathematics are not mysterious subjects — they make sense, and most students who struggle with them have been taught badly, not born wrong. Second, that exam performance is engineerable: it comes from clarity of concept, rigorous problem-solving habits, and a near-ruthless attention to mark schemes. I work best with students who want top grades and the confidence that comes from actually understanding what they're doing.
Lessons are delivered live online with full recordings, written summaries after each session, and structured between-lesson work. I'm available evenings and weekends (GMT+5) and happy to take on students preparing for the May/June or October/November series.

Lessons are one-to-one over Zoom, structured around three phases: a clear concept walkthrough, guided past-paper practice, and a mark-scheme breakdown showing exactly where the marks live. You leave with a recording, a written summary, and targeted homework. Everything is mapped to your exam board (CAIE, Edexcel, AQA, OCR) and your sitting series.
