About Omar
I'm an online Math tutor with over four years of one-to-one teaching experience, working with students from Grade 6 through Grade 12, as well as college foundation courses. I specialize in helping students strengthen their understanding of mathematics and prepare for exams such as SAT Math, ACT Math, and AP Calculus.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, where mathematics and physics formed the foundation of my studies. Over the years, I've learned that most students don't struggle because they're "bad at math." More often, they're missing one important concept that makes everything else harder.
That's why every lesson is built around the individual student. My goal is to make mathematics clear, logical, and approachable while helping students build the confidence to solve problems independently.

Every lesson starts with one question: Where does it stop making sense?
Most students who struggle with mathematics or physics aren't really stuck on the current topic. They're usually missing one key concept from an earlier stage. Once we identify and fix that gap, everything else becomes much easier.
My lessons are tailored to each student, with a focus on understanding concepts, developing problem-solving skills, and building confidence. For SAT, ACT, AP, and other international curricula, we also work on exam-style questions and effective test-taking strategies.
I teach students from Grade 6 through Grade 12, as well as college foundation courses, helping them build strong fundamentals and achieve lasting results.
