About Peter

I am a friendly and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students learn and understand new and difficult concepts in math and physics.

I focus on building confidence as well as knowledge and encouraging students to ask questions and think critically.

My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable in making mistakes. I enjoy seeing students develop new skills and progress towards their own learning goals.

About the lesson

Every lesson will be tailored to the individual needs and goals of the student.

Lesson delivery can be a variety of direct instruction, differentiated instruction, scaffolded learning or discovery based learning.

Length can be anywhere from 10-20 minutes up to 1 hour, depending on the goals.

My qualification is a Bachelor of secondary education majoring in mathematics and physics, with 3 years experience.

My lessons can be for any student from year 7 through to year 12. Age 12 through to 18.
