About Emad

Hi! I'm a Grade 12 student with a very strong academic background in math, business, and economics. I achieved a 95% in Math 20-1 and am on track to finish with a similar grade in Math 30-1. My goal as a tutor is to make learning easier and more enjoyable, all while making sure you as a student understand the topic fully. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to helping my students improve their grades and develop effective study habits. I look forward to helping students reach their academic goals.

About the lesson

I begin my teaching by assessing the student's current understanding and identifying specific areas of difficulty. Then, I break hard concepts into smaller steps and explain them using clear examples and real-world applications. I use a 3-step approach: first I demonstrate the problem, then I solve one together with the student, then I allow the student to work independently and ask questions when they arise. Throughout my sessions, I ask questions to check understanding rather than relying on the student saying they understand. My goal is to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My lessons are tailored for math courses ranging from 6th Grade Math to Math 10C in Alberta.
