About Deepankumar
I am a student studying Economics at Warwick University. I have achieved 4 A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics. I have over 100+ hours teaching these subjects from 11+ to A-Level standard. My current job at KipMcGrath has allowed me to absorb teaching methods from experienced and skilled tutors and apply them in my own tutoring sessions.
Based on my GCSE results (9 9s, 2 8s and 1 A*), I won an academic scholarship to study my A-Levels at Harrow School, where I have applied to both British and American universities and experienced their application process.
I believe every child is destined for success, however different children respond well to different methods of teaching. Through my extensive tutoring experience, I have fine-tuned and specialised in teaching in a way that targets a child's way of thinking and teaching so that the child understands the subject holistically rather than just an academic connection with it.
My forte is with 11+ teaching, where I have secured offers to study at QE Boys, and Tiffins and helped my sister secure a place at Mill Hill County High School without external tutoring.
As someone who has just recently gone through A-Levels, I am able to empathise with children who suffer from exam stress and anxiety and alleviate these fears by referring to the exam specification for the different subjects. I am a very understanding and composed tutor who focusses on understanding the child and their way of reasoning rather than imposing one particular method. Despite the overwhelming number of resources on the internet, I am able to limit and narrow down the focus and only recommend the best of resources and worksheets for use.
All my students will receive up-to-date exam guidance and custom worksheets / questions on their chosen topics. By giving termly assessments, I will also be able to look at their progress on weaker areas in order to iron out any doubts or issues.
My students will not only find that I am a compassionate and articulate tutor, but that I am also a source of support for tackling these assessments.
