I have been tutoring since 2015 and have a lot of experience in teaching KS3-KS5 in Maths and Physics. My lessons aim to build confidence (first and foremost) as without confidence, it's difficult for a student to persist through more difficult work. I have a patient teaching style and will keep attempting to teach in different ways until the concepts are grasped. Typically, lessons are 1 to 2 hours long and take place online via Zoom. I hold Masters and Doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as holding Qualified Teacher Status (I worked as a secondary maths and physics teacher before starting my career as an aerospace engineer). I like to bring my experience of using maths and physics in real-world applications and aim to inspire students in STEM subjects and give them examples of how their maths and physics knowledge is useful. I teach Secondary Maths and Physics (KS3-KS5).

Perfect! I didn’t have long with Adam in the lead up to my GCSEs; however in the short time and little lessons we had Adam was able to drastically improve my mathematical skills, determination and overall confidence towards doing my GCSEs. I was on a very low predicted grade before Adam started tutoring me. I do believe I will now achieve higher grades than I had ever expected because of Adam’s help. Very highly recommended. In my sons lessons over 10+ weeks Adam has explained throughly to my son topics that he struggled on before hand and made him understand and give my son confidence on his retake of maths.

Highly recommend!Hi, I have absolutely no problem in giving the highest recommendation I can for Adam and his skills as a Tutor. The easiest 5 stars ever. My son took a year out and decided he wanted to study Engineering at University but would need a Maths A level. He was out of the the school system then so we were looking for a private tutor. After having a trial lesson with a few tutors Oliver chose Adam as he got on with him very well and enjoyed his style of teaching. The following nine months or so Adam created a structured teaching programme to ensure Oliver met all the criteria for the A Level syllabus. Oliver passed his A Level maths very well has achieved his goal of studying Engineering at University. Adams help, tutoring skill and effort he afforded Oliver has been invaluable and we can't thank him enough. As I said, easiest 5 stars ever!
