About Hannah

I am a second year Student studying BSc Geography at the University of Exeter. I can therefore provide Geography tutoring through to A Level and having studied Maths at both GCSE and A Level, I can provide tutoring to a GCSE level. I really enjoy the logical nature of Maths and evidently enjoy Geography as I have chosen to study it at University! I would love to share my enthusiasm for both of these subjects and assist the learning of younger students. I think this is particularly important currently during the unprecedented times we are living in where many students may be experiencing anxiety about falling behind on their studies. I have had a lot of interaction with students in past having been part of a reading group with Tyndale School Students and having been part of the Mentor Scheme at MCS school Oxford assisting younger children with their studies. Prior to this, I also have volunteering experience from Windmill School and was a volunteer Netball Coach with Abbey Netball club in Oxford. The lessons will be directed by the student/parent, structured around addressing the harder topics, which may not be so easy to cover in a group online lesson, on a one to one basis. I can assist with the understanding of topics, homework and also how to structure question responses. University : - University of Exeter - BSc Geography [Currently Studying]

Hannah is a conscientious and hard working individual who always strived to understand everything that was taught in maths during her A-level studies. She always handed work in on time and took her studies and progress seriously. I have no doubt that she would be able to apply this studious approach to any tutoring that she did as she would want those she helped to achieve the same level of understanding. She would also be patient and considerate as she worked alongside her tutees. Hannah is an approachable, friendly and caring young lady who would be able to empathise when students found things difficult and she would work hard at explaining mathematical concepts from different angles. I have no hesitation in recommending her for this role.
