About Sanam
I graduated from a scientific highschool and went on to study politics. I've kept engaging with mathematics by being a maths tutor for a few years. I also have a passion for drama and creative writing and since my partner is a maths teacher, we have been thinking of many ways to make maths more fun and accessible for his students throughout this confinement!

I like to follow schools programme so as to not interfere. There are also multiple resources online for teachers to find exercises. I first try to break down concepts into more relatable ideas or daily life situations. I then give an example of how to apply a new concept/rule in the framework of a formal exercise. I then let the student(s) do the exercise. I give personal feedback on what went wrong during their thought process. The most important is that they feel confident about approaching a new problem and feel allowed to make mistakes.
