About Maureen

I have been an ESL language instructor for the past eighteen years. I have taught individual one on one and small group lessons. I have taught for many professional language training companies as well as some adult education schools. I am now teaching one on one lessons using Zoom, Skype, or Google Meet.

About the lesson

I like to first assess the level of the student to choose the goals of the lessons and choose appropriate materials for the lessons. I like to practice with the students conversation, listening, writing, reading, vocabulary, pronunciation, and business communication skills. I know the challenges of learning a foreign language based on my experience learning other languages and sharing my passion for languages.

Yarelli

She is helping me to improve my pronunciation, read and speak, she takes the time to explain if you have any doubt, always has the right classes at the level of English I need. I like that we talk about things that interest me and this helps me develop my speech. She also speaks Spanish, so if at any time I can't explain myself in English, I can speak confidently. She is a good teacher.
