About Carla
I am an engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University. I have always loved math and have tutored students (mostly family and friends) who have successfully improved their grades. I love math and feel that learning the basics provides a student with confidence to move on to upper level math subjects.

My method of teaching is based on visually laying the problem out, making connections to previously learned material, and assessing the students understanding of both before moving forward. This can include graphics, number lines, teaching problem solving techniques in stages, and reviews and/or quizzes.
