About Tom
I work as a Geotechnical Engineer in Christchurch, having come here 6 years ago. I love sports and outdoors and very active with these, can nearly talk about any sports! Maths is a staple of my profession and something I have always enjoyed learning due to its possibilities that it brings, and enjoy passing this passion and knowledge I have onto others, this bringing me to Tutoring.

I look to understand how the student enjoys learning, while ensuring they do not cut corners in their education to cater for an enjoyable learning experience. Lessons typically are 1 hour, with flexibility available. I have a degree in Civil Engineering with Honours from Canterbury University and have been working as a Geotechnical Engineer for 2 years, having helped out with tutoring high school and younger students with maths through university. My lessons are for all ages up to Year 13 NCEA level 3.
