About Scott
I'm a current PhD student at the school of Engineering at UCD. I also have first-class honours Master's and Bachelors's degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
During my leaving certificate, I received A grades in Maths, Applied Maths and Physics; I'm familiar with the leaving certificate marking schemes and curriculum.
I've previously given Higher-Level Leaving Cert Maths grinds

My approach not only to education is that understanding is far more important than written learning.
During my grinds, there will be a high emphasis on the logic behind what they are learning. Once a student understands the principle behind a particular area of study they will a) be able to show this high level of comprehension to examiners during exams to obtain the highest mark and b) be able to remember the material for longer.
