About Foon
I hold a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Washington, a master's degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University, and a MBA from University of Michigan. From tutoring my two daughters, I discovered a joy in teaching when I helped them go from struggling with middle school algebra to getting a five on the BC calculus exam in their sophomore year.
I approach tutoring in a patient and passionate manner. My strength lies in breaking down concepts in a way that allows you to build problem solving skills.
I am extremely detail oriented. I will work with you to create a strategic plan to help you achieve your goals, whether that's a 36 on the ACT or acing your next BC calculus exam. For me it's not about the results or rote memorization, it's about helping you genuinely understand the concepts and building your confidence as a problem solver.
