About Guillaume
My school background is 5 years of a skiing concentration program at high school, followed by 2 years of college in a natural science program that prepares you for university. Then I studied 5 years in engineering at university, and I'm now a graduate in mechanical engineering.
During the last three years of my university, I was a teaching assistant in a first-year bachelor's degree course. I gave lessons to the students, and I was assisting the teacher with lab classes and grading exams.
I recently did an internship of 4 months in a mountain bike company named Devinci, where I worked mainly on an electric version of a mountain bike that will appear on the market next year.

My approach as a tutor is based on a good communication back and forth between the student and me. I always make sure that the base knowledge is well understood before moving forward in the lesson.
A typical lesson plan begins with taking the time to create a bond of friendship with the student, so we can have fun together while doing the lessons. Then I try to understand why the student is taking a lesson, and what are his short and medium term objectives with regard to tutoring. I can finally prepare an organized list of subjects that we will go through together, so the student can reach his/her objectives.
I really think what makes myself a good tutor is my ability to present the knowledge in an organized way, which is easy to understand and memorize. During my academic background, I've developed a system based on organization and efficiency, and I would love to transmit these learnings to the students.
My lessons are for students of the elementary and high school. They can be in English or French, and I can tutor maths, physics and French.
