About Teymur
I am a first-year Electrical Engineering Student in the University of Edinburgh (Predicted 1st MEng(Hons)). I have taught 3D printing and CAD in high school as part of a government-led STEM programme. I have a score of A in IGCSE Mathematics and 5/5 in AP Calculus BC, AP Computer Science and AP Physics. AP Exams are equivalent to A-levels in American Education System (equivalent to AAA in A-levels). I have achieved 7.5/9 in IELTS English exam. I am part of my University’s Formula Student and Robotics (Advanced) societies. I am also part of EngPals which is an engineering peer-tutoring programme. I have certifications from Cisco for Computer Hardware and IoT (Internet of Things). I am looking forward to tutoring students and helping them achieve their best at school!

I will be assisting students in Maths and Computing on their schoolwork and on any additional help they will need. I make personalised lessons based on students’ strengths and weaknesses to help them achieve best in their classes. I usually give students extra assignments and ask them to explain back to me the subject in their own words as this is the best way to learn. I avoid making students memorise things. Instead, I help them understand and comprehend the topic instead.
