About Patricia
I am an Electrical Engineering student, and I am extremely passionate about what I study and I believe it is really easy to spread enthusiasm about your subject when you love what you teach.
I have been tutoring Maths, Physics and Chemistry for 2 years, to high school students, as well as to my fellow classmates. This means I have taught students of various ages and various backgrounds, learning how to accommodate different needs. All my lessons used to be in-person, but due to Covid, I am also used to teaching online :)
My main objective is to provide interesting and engaging classes, where students have fun, whilst also learning. I am a very easygoing person, and with motivated students, lessons will definitely be very productive.
Please megssage me if you have any questions!

Having taught a great deal of classes over 2 years, experience has shown that making lessons fun, dynamic and interesting, allows the student to enjoy, whilst learning.
My typical approach will always include going over the basics to ensure these are understood - without a correct foundation a house cannot be built.
We will gradually increase the difficulty and go through harder questions and examples.
We will also do past papers, as when preparing exams such as GCSE´s and A-Levels, questions and knowledge assessed seem to follow trends and patterns. Knowing how to answer specific exam board questions, and understanding their mark schemes (as well as a theoretical understanding) is extremely important in order to achieve full marks.
I also encourage students to ask as many questions as possible- they are the ones that truly know what they don't understand.
That being said, I do plan my lessons in advance, so if students are struggling with a specific topic, or would like to go over something, they can tell me anytime- I am a very approachable person.
