About Charlie
I studied HL maths at sixth form, achieving a 7, alongside physics and economics. With a 43 in the IB (out of 45) and 10 A*s and an A at GCSE, with an A in Additional Maths FSMQ (the highest grade). After school, I left to teach maths at a school, providing me with valuable teaching experience and techniques.

My teaching method is based around helping the student to understand mathematical foundations, and applying those to work through more complex problems. I aim to help my students reach solutions and understanding themselves, rather than simply showing them the answers. If a certain method or explanation isn't working, I switch up the questions and try to help the student understand from a different point of view

Charlie is a friendly and enthusiastic tutor. He is a very competent mathematician and is excellent at explaining very complex matters in easy to explain ways. He also offered great tips on exam preparation and helped me achieve a grade 9 in GCSE maths. I would definitely recommend Charlie as a tutor as he will ensure you understand all parts of the course whilst also making it enjoyable !
Charlie has been a great tutor for maths by helping me to understand the more abstract concepts in the most efficient ways. I managed to go from a grade C at the beginning of year 10 to an A* for my actual GCSE! I would highly recommend Charlie as a maths tutor for anyone who may require one.
