Hello, I am a current medical student that is dedicated and motivated to the pursuit of knowledge
I am able to tutor alevels, gcse and the years below.
I am a firm believer in the effect revision technique can have in your final result. As a recent student I have tried and tested many revision techniques and I am confident we will find one suitable for you.
Also as I have just recently finished my alevels, I have a clear in-depth knowledge of my subjects. My recent experience also means I’m familiar with the new specification. In addition, I am able to give an experienced first person insight into the best ways to prepare for your exams. As a successful medicine applicant I can also help prepare your UCAS application, do some mock interviews as I’ve had interviews for medicine in (Cambridge, Leicester and Liverpool) and help with your UKCAT and BMAT preparations.
I’ve tutored gcse level previously for over two years and have worked as a teacher assistant.
I believe in mentee centred tutoring sessions. The pace of the session is decided by how quick I think you grasp the information. Every student is different.
Usually for my sessions I would expect you to inform me on which type of specification you study and which revision technique/ guide you usually use. Bring your revision books and any flash cards with you to my session and I can assure you that by the end of every session you will understand everything on your syllabus for that topic.
most my lessons are usually around 2 hours. That is enough time to study a topic and do some past paper questions (very important) and then re revise any questions you got wrong.
I managed to do and so can you with the right mindset!!!
