About Xavier
Hi, I'm Xavier and I recently graduated from Cambridge with a degree in Natural Sciences. Since then, I've been working for various Tech-Education companies while tutoring part-time. I believe that tutoring isn't just about getting good grades, it's about a truly satisfying learning journey that addresses failure and inspires success. I'm motivated to inspire students to be empowered and reach their full academic potential. In my spare time I enjoy playing piano, exploring London and spending time with friends and family.
I have been tutoring for over 7 years and have been inspired by wanting each and every student to understand, and be motivated by, their subject. I began tutoring fellow students in my chemistry class at school...driven by this, I ran classes to help prepare students to gain a place at competitive universities. I went on to teach piano to children in my local area, and then began teaching maths and science A-Level students for a number of years. Teaching A-Level maths is one of my favourite things to do... it's a brilliant subject that allows you to consistently be surprised by new concepts that make logical sense, and connect with all aspects of maths you've covered throughout your life. I look forward to joining the adventure with you and helping you reach a grade you never considered reaching!
