About Maria
I am a friendly and reliable tutor to all students. I aim to make the lessons enjoyable and informative to ensure the students have a memorable and useful session. I am here to help the students when they are struggling with maths at school and require extra support. I strive to make a supportive and encouraging setting for students to reach out when they have questions confidently and provide individualised support.

I will try to cater the learning to the student's needs and conduct assessments to test the student's level and improvement. I will emphasise topics that students struggle with at school so they don't fall behind and feel confident at school while learning. I try to teach different techniques to solve a problem because each child is different and has a different way of learning. I aim to have a lesson running for about 40-60 mins, as this is the optimal time to maintain a child's concentration. I teach maths for students in grade 7-9. However, the length of the session can be extended on request. I am currently studying a Bachelors in Speech Pathology and graduated from a selective school with an atar above 95.00.
