About Anya
Being 16 years old allows me to better communicate with the student, and I find it makes me much less scary! I'm still in education (A-levels) so have a firm grasp on the current syllabus and education system.
I am currently an A-level maths student with a long time passion for sharing my tips and tricks to facing a subject many fear. At GCSE I achieved grade 9 (equivalent to A*) across all my subjects and am predicted A* at A-level. I am friendly with a warm attitude to any prospect pupils, I believe learning is best done in an environment you feel safe to make mistakes.

I teach using interacting learning methods, accurate to the current curriculum, with the needs of each individual student in mind. I believe memorable lessons, in a welcoming atmosphere is the best way to learn. Worked examples and increasing independence with maths problems aide in building skills gradually, avoiding the overwhelming feeling many students face when dealing with maths. Anyone can conquer a fear of maths!
I can do lessons half an hour to an hour, but this isn't set in stone! my lesson are available for ages 4 to 15 (primary and secondary school).
