About Matas
Hello! My name's Matas, and I'm a Fifth Year student looking to help any Junior Cert Maths or Science students in first, second, or third year.
I achieved 8 Distinctions in my 2024 Junior Certificate (back when it was 90%+), not as a result of natural capability but because of my methodical learning techniques.
I graduated from DCU Early University Entrance in Physics, in which I learned advanced topics like calculus but also helped me solidify the more basic concepts in a more clear way!
However, enough about me and more about you. I offer exam advice and clear explanations, most of which your teachers might not tell you! I will explain the topic you are learning as best and as clearly as possible.

As a Fifth Year student, I know what it's like to be sitting the Junior Cert exams. It's no easy task and it can definitely get stressful!
As part of my teaching philosophy, I will offer:
- resources for any concepts you are struggling with, including notes and exam questions. (where applicable, my own notes)
- explanation of concepts in the simplest manner possible with any analogies or real-world examples to support.
