About Amy
Hi my name is Amy. Im currently studying food science and nutrition at theUniversity of Reading. I have been maths tutoring since year 12 (17 years old).
I love helping people that struggle with GCSE foundation mathematics and helping them pass their GCSEs is always something that makes me feel so proud of their improvements and everything they have achieved.

I start most sessions by going over what was completed since our last session and spend time making sure the student understands everything and if not that is included in the session.
I then work through some problems with the student showing them techniques they can use in similar problems.
The student will then work through some problems individually with my aid if necessary to make sure they understand the questions.
The student may be given a worksheet for extra development or a recap from a past session to make sure they have a full understanding and memory of techniques.
