About Amber
I am a proud first-generation college graduate from Tarleton State University, where I earned my master’s degree. As a former student with a learning disability, I understand firsthand what it feels like to struggle in school and to feel left behind—and that is something I never allow my scholars to experience. I am deeply committed to teaching in a way that is patient, supportive, and tailored to how each student learns best. I believe every child is capable of success when given the right tools and encouragement. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy playing video games, baking, and crafting, and I often use students’ interests to make learning more engaging and meaningful.

I’m offering small-group math tutoring to help students truly understand math—not just memorize steps. I break math down into the simplest form and connect it to real-life situations and things students are interested in, so learning actually makes sense.
My goal is to build confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and help students feel successful in math class and on assessments.
