About Deepa
My years of experience as a teacher have helped me form a teaching philosophy that guides how I help my students succeed in the classroom and beyond. I truly believe that their success begins with making them comfortable in the classroom, so I start our school year with plenty of activities so everyone can get to know one another. I encourage them to share their questions and opinions in an unbiased and open environment.

"Dear parents,
My name is deepa
and I'll be your child's teacher for the upcoming school year! I am looking forward to getting to know you all and guiding your child through a successful third grade. First, allow me to share a little about myself. Teaching is my life's passion, and I have been instructing students of all ages for 5 years. This is my fifth year working at paly Elementary School, and I've previously worked at The Martinez School as one of the teachers responsible for the gifted program.
