About Caitlin
I recently graduated from Cornell University, where I majored in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Throughout my time as an undergrad, I TA'd 3 separate classes. During each, I honed my skills in helping students to understand complicated subjects. I always loved learning about math and science, so I hope that through tutoring I will be able to spread a bit of that passion.

Fundamentally, my goal is to teach students in a way that directly prepares them for where they need to use their knowledge. Typically, I would begin by reviewing the material that the student has received to gain an understanding of what concepts the student needs to know. From there, I would work to develop a plan based on the student's goals, whether that be finding new ways to understand provided material or generating some of my own to enhance it.
I think that what generally sets me apart as a tutor is my excitement for subjects like math and computer science, which makes learning in general much more exciting.
