About Julia
I recently graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in Computer Science. I was a teaching assistant for a year for Algorithm Design and Analysis where I taught recitation and held office hours for struggling students. I was also a tutor for Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science for a semester. In high school I tutored peers and elementary school kids in math.

I approach each topic by breaking it down into simpler and easier to understand blocks. I believe that foundation is important in learning, especially in math, so I make sure that my students have a deep understanding of the basics before building into more complex concepts. I ask questions to make sure that students are actively following and that they feel comfortable asking me questions.
