About Louis

Hey! I'm Louis Vanhove, currently pursuing a Masters degree in Computer Science & AI at VUB and I'm a graduate of Howest (Digital Arts & Entertainment: Independent Game Production). This major is #2 in the world, so the standards for quality work are quite high. My bachelor's thesis on a programming topic was the best through 2022-2025 out of all students. Before this, I graduated in Latin-Mathematics (8h maths/week) while I was a youth leader on the side; I'm someone who gets along well with everyone. I really enjoy helping people and especially sharing my knowledge in a fun way.

About the lesson

To learn as a student, you first need to understand the goal of what you are learning; this way you will immediately understand the concept better. Many people try to get into the details, but it is very important to understand the big picture first. For these reasons, I find it important as a teacher (+- 4 years of experience) to first ask the student what he/she already knows, before I explain the goal and concept. Only then come the details, step-by-step, so that everyone can follow along.
