About Kelly
I have been a math tutor for three years now, and have been given both roles in a classroom setting and one on one settings. I have spent more time in classroom settings than that of one on one, but have worked with students who struggled more than others in one on one settings. These students typically increased their class grades. The outcome, however, relies as much on a students effort and willingness as my ability to tutor.

I am a college student with mathematics education up to Calculus courses. I have had experience tutoring Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus. I start out by determining what skills the student lacks or struggles with that is required for their course. We can then use your textbook as a guide for what you need to learn. I have worked with students who only needed to understand the why before the process finally clicked in their brain. My teaching method changes based on how I believe the student would best understand.
