About Emma Rose
A little bit about me. My name is Emma and I am a community college student. I graduated high school in 2023 with honors and I work as an after school tutor in the afternoons. I love teaching and working with students of all ages. I have a younger sister who I help with math all the time, and it inspired me to continue teaching others.

Hello! My name is Emma. I am a tutor for math. What is nice about my tutoring is that I am currently taking math courses and just graduated high school with a 4.0, so I am able to connect with students better. I've done peer tutoring in high school and work with elementary students in the afternoons.
I wouldn't want to plan lessons before knowing what a student needs help with, but I am good at communicating and figuring out a lesson plan that works for the student. Whether it's homework help or needing to re-learn a topic. I know a thing or two about having teachers that we aren't compatible with. I'd love to work with 1st through 12th grade math. If I do not feel strong enough in a unit you need help with, I will make sure to let you know and hope you find a tutor who understands better.
For me, I prefer learning with good notes and a lot of examples. Feel free to request certain teaching techniques that cater to you as the student!
