I have a B.S. in Molecular Biology. Spent two years in a teaching lab, one in research. Have tutoring experience in private and group settings through the AVID program and private tutoring. Focuses on real life application of academic content rather than theory.

About the lesson

For private and small group tutoring, I will most likely follow the AVID model. This is first to assess the students understanding and engage in a Socratic like seminar in which I engage the student(s) in discussion rather than repetitive content coverage
