About Tenecia
I’m a tutor who genuinely understands the difference personalised support can make. I benefitted from tutoring myself, and the confidence it gave me transformed my grades and my relationship with learning. That experience is why I teach today. I believe education is powerful, practical and life-shaping, and I want to help the next generation feel capable, prepared and proud of their progress.
I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate with experience tutoring at university, and I mainly support GCSE and A-Level students. Being closer in age to many learners means I can empathise with the pressures they face and create a space where they feel understood, encouraged and able to ask questions without hesitation.
My goal is simple: to help students realise they’re far more capable than they think.

I offer 50-minute online lessons with a gentle structure: a warm starter, a focused main activity and a clear summary. I’ve tutored at university and mainly support GCSE and A-Level students. My approach is calm, confidence-building and exam-focused, helping learners understand tricky ideas and spot key words that boost marks.
With concept-building I utilise repetition and reinforcement via exam style questions, verbal reasoning of problems (if you can explain it then you understand) as well as using real-life examples to contextualise ideas.
