About Daniel
I know that education has suffered over the past year or so. I believe that my country is the sum total of all those in it and that education is the way for each individual to develop themselves. I think I have something of a duty to help this generation develop in the STEM subjects I can assist in. My story? I'm from a working class background in the West of Scotland; an interest and an education in STEM has been my engine for social mobility and financial independence. I'm now a Senior Data Scienstist and Chartered Engineer; I spend my days collaborating with other like minded professionals creating Machine Learning algorithms, optimising indutrial facilities for clients world wide.

I pay close attention to each student. I can tell when an explanation or an excercise has resonated. I use that feedback to optimise future sessions and activities. By making my sessions as tailored to the students learning style as possible, they will see they can do it and the confidence will build. I'm also able to convey how these subjects are useful - I use them in my professional life every day!
