About Qasim
I am a BSc Computer Science student at the University of Pretoria. I have experience tutoring individually, online, and also to classes of 20-25 students. I love being able to share my passion, while getting to know each learner individually and being a force for positive change in their lives. I have always been fascinated by Physics and Mathematics, and have excelled academically, matriculating in 2022 with 7 distinctions. I am motivated by a love for teaching, and a passion for the subjects.

My focus is to tune in to, and work with, each student's individual needs. I aim to, while getting through a syllabus, also instill within learners a passion and a love for the subject. I do this by taking a more practical approach, linking topics to some of their real world applications so that they can be seen as more than just a "mystical topic in a textbook". I find great joy in teaching, trying every approach to reach that "lightbulb" moment, and helping learners grow their self-confidence.
Lessons will focus on "problem" areas, and teaching strategies to ace tests and exams.
