About Michael

I have worked for 3 years as a Mathematics Tutor in Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus and Calculus. 3 years experience as a Biology and Chemistry tutor. I have experience in extensive coursework in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.

About the lesson

I adapt the pacing as well as instruction style of sessions to meet the individual needs of students. I also like to take a “team” approach to tutoring, where myself and the student work together to find effective problem solving approaches that work for that student’s learning style. Mike has worked with my daughter on science and math as well as preparing her for the SAT’s and his knowledge is incredible. She can ask him any question and he immediately knows the answer. He has an amazing way of explaining where she understands. He has also helped her bring her grades up tremendously in her Chemistry class and even bump up her SAT scores. He is an amazing tutor!!!!

Michael is an excellent tutor, especially when it comes to explaining complicated topics in Chemistry. He does a great job at breaking down problems and creating a plan of action for approaching new questions.
