About Samantha

Hi! I'm an Archaeology graduate student researching stone tools from up to 160,000 years ago! I have many passions, Archaeology just happens to be one of them! I am passionate about all subjects in STEM, especially sharing how fun STEM can actually be! I also have a background in Musical Theater, and spent much of my time in college acting in musicals! My goal is to inspire students to enter into STEM fields, or to just enjoy it while in school!

About the lesson

I taught hands-on courses as a high school science and math teacher! I was also a university-level tutor for 2 years, and have much practice with students at the high school and college level. I also have experience tutoring elementary level students in the greater Phoenix area. My approach to teaching is to make lessons as digestible as possible, and I do this by creating lessons that are involved and entertaining, not just lecturing. With my degrees and credits in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Anthropology, I can teach anything from K-college Mathematics, Sciences, Social sciences, and English.
