About Jaedyn
I have a strong passion for science, and helping others understand challenging concepts in a clear and approachable way. In high school, I felt behind my classmates in the way that I needed extra help to grasp basic concepts. I believe that with some extra explanation and encouragement, any student can succeed! I also want to create a comfortable environment with students, and help them feel confident in their skills.
Before starting college, I gained tutoring experience at my high school, where I helped fellow students improve their understanding of subjects like biology, basic chemistry, and math. I know how to break down complex topics, adapt the way I explain things to different learning styles, and help students build confidence in their abilities.
My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them develop strong study habits and problem-solving skills that will benefit them long-term.

I teach lessons mostly for middle to early high school students in basic math, biology, and chemistry. I had a difficult time grasping concepts in school, so I like to approach teaching these subjects from a different angle than the teacher would, and encouraging students to be confident in their abilities. I have been told that I am easily approachable, understanding, and not afraid to joke with students every once in a while to create a welcoming environment. I prefer the students to come prepared with questions or work, so we can jump right into material, but I also understand the "I feel so lost in everything." I break things down in a way that is easy to understand, and am a fan of a silly mnemonic to remember things.
