About Lauren
I started my tutoring career with Champion Learning Center in NYC. I helped many students by visiting them at their homes weekly just to ensure we could help them excel academically. I loved to see their improvement and eventually became a private tutor. I met my students in the library on a weekly basis. We would review any areas they were having trouble in. Together, we rebuilt their confidence and helped them overcome any scholastic challenges. I want to continue to help students learn and develop the tools to make improvements in the way they approach subjects that may at first feel overwhelming. My goal is for them to succeed!

I make Mathematics easy to understand, even when it may seem very complex. Many of my former students no longer struggle with math, and now it is one of their favorite subjects! I start off by evaluating exactly which areas a student may be having the most difficulty with comprehension. Gradually, through repetition, we start to practicing those skills, until they can master them.
