About Lauren Harvey
I am a college student with a high school diploma who is pursuing a degree in astrophysics. I tutored 9 students with a tutoring agency from 2019-2020, and I have gained a lot of experience with tutoring online this year. I have also tutored a handful of students privately in mainly mathematics courses and have helped them all to raise their grades, pass AP tests, and understand the material much better than they thought they could.

I typically give lessons to high school students, but I have tutored college students as well. I can tutor Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, Precalculus, and Calculus (AP Calculus AB/BC, or any single-variable calculus class). I approach tutoring on a case-by-case basis, where I will figure out what each individual student needs and cater to that. I typically do this by going through and doing a student's homework with them, reviewing their tests/quizzes, or creating my own practice problems to demonstrate a concept if neither of the previous options are available.
