About Serli
I'm a current undergraduate student at UC Berkeley as a senior majoring in Astrophysics. My undergraduate was majorly focused on building a strong foundation for physics and math. It's my last year as an undergraduate and I'm not a full-time student this semester, so I'd like to gain more experience with teaching and the field of education. I have a 1 year experience through a volunteer based college student program (College Corps) working at a middle school as a TA attending classes and helping students.

I enjoy teaching math and physics and I want to inspire young students from middle school to early college to gain interest in math and science. Getting to know my student is the first step for me while teaching. After I understand the needs and interests of my student, we create a lesson plan that we are both happy with. I also like using visuals and demonstrations when teaching math and science and make learning fun!
