About Binan
I am a graduating PhD student in Applied Mathematics at New Jersey Institute of Technology. I have been teaching professionally in college and tutoring since 2016. I have given lessons to kids in talent programs in a class of twenty, conducted discussion groups with college freshmen and led seminars with graduate students and faculty members. I hold BS in pure mathematics and BA in economics from University of Southern California, and an MS in mathematics from New York University.

My teaching methodology has always been the fundamental exploration of logic and truth. For mathematics, I always stress the basic grammar -- how one statement follows another via logical progression, like any language structure. If one can read and write well, then one should be able to learn mathematics and appreciate the way it presents truth. This methodology persists through all levels of mathematics I teach.
